07-Sep-2026 — clearing a GPX route removes every trace of it, dragging the start pin updates every #151

build 883commit 8074f6e

What's new

Three walk editor problems on the Route tab are fixed. Clearing the GPX Route picker looked as if it worked but the route came back on save, because the cleared value never reached the server; it now removes the file, the directions, the route colour, weight and opacity, and the route line from the map. Dragging the start pin only changed the Starting Location text, keeping the old postcode and a stale grid reference; it now adopts the nearest postcode with its grid references and description, and still offers the other nearby postcodes in the dropdown with the previous one kept in the list. And the route was being drawn twice when the editor opened, which left a copy on the map that no clear could remove.
