What's new

A route's written directions no longer pile onto one step. Across the walk editor and the route page editor, "turns" now reads "directions".

At a glance

• Directions attach to the right steps: a place lookup that comes back with a different feature is ignored, two anchors squeezing several sentences onto one step give way to the one nearer its place in the text, "turn L" and "turn R" count as sides, and a new paragraph never snaps back to the previous step
• "Turns" reads "directions" everywhere, including the route page editor
